Drawing Essentials

Introduction to drawing: History, materials, technique, and learning how to see differently.

 

Drawing for the beginner or for those who just want the practice. No prior experience necessary.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays beginning February 1st 2016. 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Where: 711 W. Broadway (The corner of Limit and Hwy 60) Mountainair, NM 87036

Cost: $15 per class or $60 for 6 classes (sign up for six to get the discount) Payable at time of class.

 

  • Materials you need to bring to class: (Click on Links for sources for Art Supplies)
  • Drawing pad 9x12 (minimum size)
  • Newsprint pad
  • Drawing board with a clip or tape
  • Drawing Pencils of various hardnesses
  • Kneaded eraser
  • Smudge stick (optional)
  • charcoal pencils of different hardnesses
  • Conte crayons
  • Imagination, Open eyes, and a Sense of Humor
  • What you do not need to bring to class: Expectations & Fear.
